Getting excited...
...I got my passport from the safe deposit box today and am checking exchange rates and weather forecasts.....I am so excited!! I just talked to Lucy on Skype IM. It is so weird to think that I will be there in 9 days!!

Welcome to my blog!
Welcome to my first blog: An Okie in England!! I want to say thank you to the trustees of the Deer Creek School Foundation for having the foresight to see the value that a project like this can have!! Check back periodically to see what I am doing to prepare for my trip!!! Then come back in June to see all the excitement as it unfolds! The Yanks are coming!!!
